Groovy Shit is an illustration booklet depicting iconic elements of the hippie counterculture of the 1960’s. This booklet is purely for enjoyment and nostalgic purposes, specifically for those (like myself) who long to have experienced the 60’s first-hand. This booklet was created using watercolor brush pens, a traditional Japanese solid watercolor palette, and black ink pens. In the true spirit of counterculture, I threw out the rule book and allowed myself to have artistic freedom when creating these illustrations. I laser cut a wood-binding to bring another natural element into the booklet. This booklet could serve as a coffee table book for people who just want to look at some groovy shit. Sorry, Grandma.
